Twenty years building systems, and ten years of helping people through crisis
For twenty years, I led people and programs in the corporate world. For ten of those years, I was also counseling people through crisis, grief, and marriages that were falling apart — nights, weekends, whenever someone needed to talk. In 2025, I left the corporate career to answer the call full time.

Twenty years of running things, ten of sitting with people
You're filling a role that asks one person to shepherd people and run systems at the same time. Most candidates are genuinely good at one of those. Most resumes won't tell you which one you're looking at.
For two decades, I led teams and budgets for enterprise software companies: portfolios worth $20M or more, teams of six to ten people, onboarding playbooks that cut implementation time by 28%. For ten of those years, I was also counseling, certified through ACBC, sitting with people in crisis and grief and marriages that were coming apart. Both were real jobs. Only one of them was the reason I got up in the morning.
In 2025 I left the corporate career. Since then, I oversaw every ministry team in a church of 550–650, supervised the Youth Pastor and staff, built the small groups ministry from nothing, wrote and taught the adult discipleship curriculum, designed the care system the church now runs on, and sat with the trustee board when benevolence was requested. The operations habits came with me: I still document what I build, and I still measure whether it works.
Whether I turn out to be the right fit for your church or not, I would rather you learn that from the work than from an interview. So the work is on this page.

Which seat are you filling?
I can help with three kinds of role. Pick the one you are hiring for and you will get the version of my experience that is actually relevant to it.
Executive pastor
Staff, systems, budget, and board. I've run the operational side of a mid-size church without the title, and I ran enterprise operations for twenty years before that.
The executive workDiscipleship & groups
Groups built from zero, a leader pipeline that's already training a second generation of leaders, and a discipleship framework I wrote and taught myself.
The discipleship workCare & counseling
Ten years of ACBC-certified counseling, weekly crisis and marriage work, and the intake and confidentiality system that keeps people from falling through the cracks.
The care workWhat I’ve actually built
Three projects, written the way I would brief a board: what I inherited, what I built, and what it changed. Each one opens to the full story.
Putting a church on a real system of record
Ministry management ran on spreadsheets, memory, and one person’s inbox. I evaluated the options, selected BreezeChMS, migrated the church onto it, and trained the staff to run care tracking, group registration, and attendance in one place.
A groups ministry from zero, and the leaders it produced
There was no small groups ministry when I arrived. I spun the vision, set the strategy, recruited and trained the first leaders, and coached them through conflict, health checks, and multiplication until they were training leaders of their own.
A care system where nobody falls through
Care requests were arriving faster than one pastor could hold them. I designed the intake, tracking, and confidentiality protocol, set the escalation thresholds, and built the referral network for what sits beyond a pastor’s scope.

Hear me before you call me
A full message, not a highlight reel. Underneath it, the EQUIP series: 8 weeks on anxiety, deception, faithfulness, and grief, the same subjects people brought to me in counseling all week. Each week, I taught what the Bible says about the topic and how to actually apply it, at home and with the people you love.
